Is free delivery available for your products?
Yes, we provide Free delivery for orders of 10 Tons or more within the East Valley area.
Will the color of the rock I previously purchased match the same type I buy now?
In most cases, yes, but color variations can occur due to the natural nature of rock and gravel. As mining operations expand or new veins are discovered, color changes may happen. We inform our customers about this possibility during the ordering process. To ensure a good match, it’s recommended to visit our showroom at 4960 S Delaware St Apache Junction, AZ 85120 to see the current product. Our knowledgeable team can usually suggest a suitable match, even if the original quarry is no longer operating.
When can I expect my rock delivery to arrive?
Our delivery schedule is subject to various factors, such as traffic, loading times, and ease of locating the delivery address. When you place an order, we’ll ask for your preferred day and time and do our best to accommodate your needs. If there are any changes, we’ll promptly notify you. Please note that delays may occur due to circumstances at other delivery locations, but we strive to be as close to the requested time as possible.
Can you deliver landscape products during weekends?
We generally do deliver on Saturdays but orders are limited to quantity and location. If you require a weekend delivery, please give us a call, and we’ll see if we can arrange it for you.
Faq: A Guide to Rock Sizes and Their Practical Purposes
1/4″ & 3/8″ – These small-sized rocks are also knows as decomposed granite and often found in minus material, but some colors are available as screened. They provide an economical landscaping solution and are widely used for pathways, driveways, rental properties, parking lots, and children’s play areas. These rocks compact well, offer a relatively smooth surface, and are less likely to be thrown by children. When desired, they can be upgraded with a layer of screened material.
1/2″ – Comparable in size to a penny, dime, or nickel, these rocks are popular for front and backyard landscaping. They are easier to shovel, rake, and maintain compared to larger 3/4″ – 1″ rocks, making them ideal for covering bald spots in your landscape.
3/4″ & 1″ – Similar in size to a quarter or fifty-cent piece, these rocks are also commonly used for front and backyard landscaping. They stay in place effectively, making them suitable for pool areas as they are less likely to end up in the water and can be easily removed if needed. Additionally, these larger rocks are less prone to getting stuck in shoes.
3/8″ Pea Gravel – This rock size is perfect for dog runs and kennels, providing a comfortable walking surface for pets, easy cleaning, and cooling with a water hose. It is also a popular choice for children’s playsets, offering less mess than sand and fewer bug problems than wood chips.
Rip Rap – Ranging in size from baseball to basketball, these rocks are commonly used in dry riverbeds and water retention areas.
